Today I was talking to a coworker about what a control freak I am. We realized that we had lot in common. She like me cringes when someone doesn't load the dishwasher like we think it should be, wash clothes on the right settings and I could go on and on. As I was sitting here thinking that I am too tired to blog, I came to another realization. A mother's work is never done. Never. I will never be caught up. It just won't happen. There is too much!!
But I have been working on letting go. I recently read a book and recommended it to my coworker today. "Let It Go, how to stop running the show and start walking in the faith". I still stumble EVERY day, but with God's help and guidance I am making small strides.
It is so tough to be a mom and not feel like you have to take control of everything. I am getting there.

Welcome
Welcome to my blog. So cliche, right. What else would I say? Glad that you stopped by..Hope you enjoy reading my personal thoughts..blah blah blah. I used to love to blog or to journal. It is therapeutic and a good way to remember. I used to be able to remember everything, but now that I am forty and had a child my brain is sometimes out to lunch. A few of my Facebook friends blog and they have inspired me. Here is just a little insight on how my weird brain works.
So yesterday, my husband brought home my favorite Mexican food and as I was spreading guacamole over my chalupa I thought....I used to hate guacamole. Then I thought, I used to love to blog. And then there was a name of my blog. So I am not going to claim to be great at this, but I will say that sometimes to just have to keep trying things until they become a part of your life.
So here goes. Welcome to my blog.
